We love traveling, it is one of the best things you can do. Experiencing the world, different cultures and locations that might be the completely opposite of what you are used to.
Hawaii
If there is one place we want to visit it is Hawaii. We dream about all the food to try, the drinks, the activities and to experience the local culture. As naturelovers this is the ideal destination to explore. Hawaii is a US state and is knows as a nature paradise. Hawaii is filled with sand, beaches and a lot of hiking trails where the end goal is a spectacular view.
Hawaii has very fresh and unique food that we really want to explore and try especially Shrimp Shack. Shrimp Shack is a food truck from one of our favorite TV-shows Hawaii 5-0. It is now sort of a landmark and tourist attraction for all who loves the serie. Hawaii have very interesting traditions we want to be a part of such as attending a luala and attend their festivals. We also want to take surfing and hula classes – or at least one of us – and see the marine- and wildlife.
Japan
The next destination is Japan which Johnny already have been to. The reason we want to go there is not only the culture but as well their food. Japan is known for it’s delicious food and especially sushi – since it is the birthplace of it. Not thinking about the food, Japan has a certain aestethic sourrounding it, from the architecture to the traditions and how perservative it of its country. We want to atten holidays and traditions in Japan such as the light festival and see their architecture which is so special and unique to the country.
Australia
There is one big reason to why we really want to go to Austrialia and that is the Great Barrier Reef. It is the worlds largest coral reef and is every marin lovers dream to see it. There is 2’900 individual reefs and over the years due to climate changes and human impact such as pollution the coral reef is dying. However, people have been working towards preserving it and keeping it intact which is amazing.
Except from that, we want to go and see the different environments there such as the wildlife which is just incredible, the urulu which is basically a rock but is a well known tourist attraction. The wildlife is something very special and since the wildfires it has taken a hit. We want to go there and volunteer for a few days to see how it is to actually make a difference and being one on one with the animals, helping them. Austrialia is such an amazing destination and it is very big so there is plenty of places to go to with various highlight and reasons.
Indonesia
Indonesia is constructed by over 17’000 induvidual island and is knows for its crystal clear water and as Austrialia, they are known for their colorful coral reefs.
We have some friends from indonesia and they invited us to visit them there, so thats another reason to go in Indonesia. Traveling to Indonesia is something we are looking foreward to do, for many reasons but one of them is their wonderful natural environment. We are excited to experience their traditional food culture and street food.
Cuba
Since seeing a lot of dancing movies and having a new passion for learning how to dance salsa, we cannot not go to Cuba. It is known for being the rise fo street salsa and is one of the oldest Carribbean islands. My mom and dad have been there many times when they were working and hearing their stories only made us want to go more. They have a very unique and facinating culture.
There is a few places that we really want to go to such as the old Havana which is a charming city filled with traditions, music, and old classical cars. We also really just want to wonder around and see all the colorful houses, meet the locals and hopefully we find someone who can show us local locations and not tourist attraction because we want to go to a country not to be a tourist but experience the local culture. And of course take salsa classes!
